Bruno Carossi in Tas purchased the Jag from Bryson ? . He ran it in Tas inc 67 Longford still White . In 1968 it was painted red and ran at the last Longford . Bruno sold it within Tas and it went thru 2 or so owners then back to Oz.

Single frame shot from my 8mm movie. Bruno heading for Longford pits to have some wire removed ....from a fenceline he visited a little too closely.

It was comfortably leading the '64 ATCC as well until on lap 31 (of 50) it was slowed by clutch trouble, which dropped it to 3rd at the finish. Thats an amazing looking model by the way, what scale is it? Is that the nose of an Aston Martin Lagonda I see in the background of the first photo?

The "Model" project is moving into its final stages, with some changes having been made to the prototype shown in the pictures....

If posssible, we'd like to find out a few more facts/ stories on the car to include on the packaging notes to go with the model....

Was it the winningest MkII Jaguar to ever run?..... What was it's score ratio?..... How many races did it run in?.... What about the 4.2Ltr conversion?..... all thinngs we'd like to hear about from forum members that remember this great car.....

Thanks for the update Greg. Just out of interest, when did Bob buy the Jag back again? And where did he find it?

As I remember the T Mart franchisees bought the Bob Jane Jag back & gave it to him for his 65th birthday ... one for Thunder427 ... a few years back a spare Mk2 bonnet ex the workshop brought good dollars at a charity auction.
