" Graham Peter McRae
5/3/1940 - 3/8/2021
Greatness, but could have been world champion. "

The above comment is a note by Allan Dick on his " Classic AutoNews " page;
Allan also noted that it was 5 years since Chris Amon left us on 4th August 2016 [ the day Allan found out that
' Cassius ' has left the race-track.]

Saw him racing in the 1970's and 1980's and saw his work in car replicas when John Bennoch had a McRae Spyder back at end of the last century

VALE ; Graham McRae.

A very talented driver and engineer who will always be remembered in NZ motor racing history and as someone who won races all over the world.
Thanks for the many memories.

Apparently Graham has no family, only a niece who has set up a " Givealittle " page to help fund a funeral.
Allan Dick discovered that the niece runs a Facebook tribute page to Graham McRae.
