OSCA 40th anniversary

Hi all,
We are organising events and a function to celebrate 40 years of OSCA so if you know anyone who has an OSCA car that competed before 1990 or anyone who wants to attend either the races or function please let myself and everyone know what we are doing. October 29/30 Ruapuna and function on the Saturday night, December 5th Teretonga and Levels in March.

So far we have nearly 30 cars that will attend and cars that raced against OSCA cars from allcomers or the North Island are also welcome. Cars that we have contacted so far include (some wont be ready)... Hi, date has been changed for this meeting to the week later being November 5/6 with the function on Saturday Nov.5 7.30pm, Tickets $15 at Hornby Workingmens Club, Christchurch

I am just wondering whether this event has attracted any media interest and whether you are putting together a dvd so that people like me who cannot attend, can kinda join in.

Hi, yes have a few things on the go with posters coming out soon, classic car magazine article in a couple months and yes a dvd is planned to sell also to help fundraise which will be shown at the reunion along with heaps of old photos and articles about OSCA and thier drivers. So far I have nearly 2 hours of mainly mid/late 80's footage.

was a great evening , met a lot of old guys that haven't raced for years , had a good yarn with the guy who bought the foley minor to nz.
