Because the Lola T70 is one of Steve Holme's favourite race cars, here's a third example from our latest shipment (see my previous two threads).

This is a beautifully detailed, hand-crafted 1:43rd Spark model of the winning #6 Lola T70 MK3 from the 1969 Daytona 24 Hours. The Lola was driven to victory by Mark Donohue & Chuck Parsons, and, unusual for Spark, they have decided to model it exactly as it finished the race - complete with dirt, duct tape and accident damage.

Again, this model is available for just $79.00 from the SPR Models online store at www.spr-models.co.nz

JB, I have the model before the Duct Tape and stone chips, part of a set of three Mark Donohue / Penske racing Lola T 70's two Roadsters and the Coupe as shown. the set from GMP bought back in the early 00's was found in Logan, South Brisbane, came back to NZ and now resides on a little island, North of Brisbane, original cost AUD 177, one of a set of only 400 worldwide in a Rosewood Box, what is it worth now !!.

Gidday Rog. Now you need a 'before & after' set, and I just happen to know where you can pick up the model featured above!

I bet the quality of the GMP version is almost as good as the Spark model ... but maybe I'm just biased!!

Well, " the Price is Right " need to talk about it, detail is amazing especially the grille above the carbies / injection trumpets.
