Watched my first race at a long forgotten temporary UK airfield circuit, when the single seater race consisted of F500s, ERAs, Maserati etc. and the crowd were held back by nothing more than a rope and straw bales...
Love the whole classic, historic and vintage scene in the UK and in NZ with its depth, strength and variety and still learning about much of the NZ history and the unique cars.
Can't stand small grids of identical cars being promoted as the pinnacle of NZ motorsport.
