How much HP did Bruce say?.........370......or did I hear wrong. That is one amazing car.......1.11 and a bit round HD......THAT IS NOT MUCKING AROUND.
The in car video at last year's festival driving Mike Sexton's car epitomizes the whole structure of our series as he starts from pit lane and passes everyone! Brilliant.
This year, he started either 1:55 or 2 minutes after the first away so had to overtake the slower runners twice. He didn't quite make the front this time, but that is no bad thing from my perspective! Getting the whole field other than a couple of stragglers across the line in the shortest possible time is the number one priority. At 1:11 that car is seriously fast and having him pass you twice in one race you can see just how brilliant he is at threading his way through the pack, particularly on the last lap or two.
Race #2 - 5th place - 7 seconds behind the winner.
Race #11 - 8th - 6.1 seconds behind the winner
Race #21 - 7th - 3.9 seconds behind the winner
Race #31 - 9th - 6.3 seconds behind the winner
That was cool to watch, I first saw him at Bay Park with the 2.0 Turbo ... was always fast , & still is ....
Yea good stuff on a really good guy. Note the man in background John Butler, he a suspension guru and not too untidy at building a quick rotary back in the day.
I overtook him on the outside - once.
Mind you, it was on the dance floor at the Browns Bay RSA....
