Merry Christmas to all from the Small World of motorsport !
Ken, Hi,no nothing in Taupo, Had an uncle in Morrinsville in partnership in a garage though, Ball & Hirst, you may recall them, uncle contracted polio as a child & spent his life in leg irons but boy could he still get over, under & around cars, neat guy & did some great restorations, All the best for the festive season Ken.
Thanks Kevin,
When was your uncle in Morrinsville ?
I know some wonderful people who have suffered with polio and admire what they can still achieve in life.

chaindrive, sorry about my typo ..2106 .. never live that down !!
Roger D and no 1/25's under my bed do have a couple of Drag wheels though from unmade 1939 Chev Convertibles ' still in the boxes from the 1970's with the stovebolt six, make them as standard or modified !! Revell I think.
Any help? Not the best of action pics - before I got a decent DSLR camera!
Brilliant............Thanx ERC
Sent you a PM Chaindrive.
Make them '37 Chevs, got them out recently one made as a bit of a racer with the twin carb stovebolt, the other unmade, also have a Willys flip front Gasser, also built with a huge V8 - actually went out and bought glue and some paint, am going to restore the built ones first, [ made them first in 1971 as a 20 something, had just got married and a mate married around the same time both like kitsets, the Chevs are AMT and were made in NZ, must have imported the mould from the USA ] then see if I want to do the new one plus a couple of 1990 NA model MX5's, was going to one original and one, with a V8, from a box of bits I have .. and it is still 2016 [ not 2106 ]..
** Update July 2019 - still talking / thinking about the re-build and build -left the glue and paint in Australia - have to buy some more - Now back on the bucket list !!
