Paul England and the Ausca

I have recently heard that Australian Engineer and Driver Paul England passed away on 17th June aged 85. Paul was one of those very talented engineers who worked at Repco in the mid 1950s. he built and raced a Maserati A6GCS looking Sports car powered by a Repco headed Holden engine. I understand he also raced it in New Zealand. The Australian used special market is not frightened to charge for good cars with a known history and it was for sale in Aus in 2012 for $190,000. Paul and his Ausca is one of those cars and drivers I remember as a school boy reading my fathers Australian Sports Car World Magazines and It was great to see the car at Philip Island a few years ago.Attachment 25380
