Hi Folks, I am looking for evidence that my Wainwright Formula Vee raced at Paritutu in 1971/72 I have been reliable informed that The car driven by its builder Eric Wainwright held the lap record. I need evidence of its participation IE. result sheet or programme to prove to the powers that be that it is a genuine historic race car. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, as I can not take part in any events with out a vehicle i/d or log book.

so the 1965 meeting was organised by the Taranaki Car Club, the 1966 and 1967 were organised by the Scenic City Promotions, with sponsorship from Rothmans. Sound like they were black meetings
This is from the 1966 programme and it shows it was a sanctioned meeting. Rothmans was a major sponsor of motor racing at that time so rules might have been tweaked a bit to keep them happy.Quote:
