This website is a full-text archive of certain regional editions of The Photo News, a monthly magazine published by Logan Publishing of Gisborne between 1954 and 1975.
Of the seven regions served by the Photo News during its run, we currently make the following available on this site:

•Nelson Photo News (1960 to 1972)
Over time, with the assistance of the communities in the various regions served by the Photo News, we hope to make more editions available.
From a brief look, there are photo spreads from Gisborne car club hillclimbs and sprints, and Nelson car club events and Nelson beach races. There are also articles on local identities such as Rod Coppins and John Ward.
