Ross, Bob Homewood has got a photo of it. I`ll see if he can post it on here. Barry Pointon is my father in law and he let Mike Marshall drive the Anglia at Pukekohe due to Barry breaking his leg in a workshop accident, he reckons he should have left it in the shed!Quote:

Yes Jeff, the Anglia was repaired and sold. A bit later on Barry then bought two brand new Escorts, and with a young Jim Richards working for Barry at the time, between them they built one into the `Lemon and Paeroa' Escort which Jim raced prior to getting the drive in Jim Carneys Escort.Quote:

These are great photos of what in my opinion were the halcyon days of New Zealand motorsport. Just look at the variety of makes and models. In those days if you could get your bum into any seat you raced it.
