Classics Museum in Hamilton is still my favourite (one obvious reason :) to those who know me) Tom's thought was to always have a changing display. As more of his own collection is ready the...
Ray, they have now instituted charging, which would I think be a good thing as otherwise while I was there it was a creche for young mums on their phones and preschool kids just doing what they...
When I was working at Coventry 4 years ago (!) I asked management that question. They said they had no intention to rotate as the layout makes that difficult. I was there last February, and I could...
Thanks for coming back Ray, it's really one of the few reasons I come and look at TRS now (and Paul's Falcon)
It must have been a solid tree to pull a Falcon bumper out! Yes, keep it straight Paul, and all those other guys out there at the same time as Paul, stay away!
Paul, you have left out the damage to the rocker panel :)
Now what?
If I was donated 50 cents for every competition mile that Jupiter has done it would fund a LOT of racing!
No matter where we are, our varied ethical and political views, I wish you all a better season ahead.
More importantly Frans Cronje :)
Sad to say, but the person most responsible for the marque being a known thing, Bruce Sutcliffe passed away this last weekend.
Without Bruce very few would know what the cars were, or meant in the...
Mr Nashville, I'm curious why you want to use resin bodies for active slot cars. Today I was with the body maker for RC stockcars (UK type that bash and crash) and he couldn't understand why either...
I would SUGGEST (same word could replace "state" in earlier post) that the photo with the Zephyr, 105E, Humber/Hillman could be Tamihana /Meura St corner. The plane tree plantings in many parts of...
I'm working on either a resin body or vacuum formed. Watch this space.
Roger, your post #53, please correct as I did NOT "state that it was owned by John Histed". I said, as quoted by you in post #51 " The front engine car is, I believe, the Lola FJ car, according to...
I can probably organise a Peugeot 404 for you as per 1968
The "windowed building in the background" according to street view Google earth is "The Pancake House" the windows on the same source with plywood where the glass is, Corner of Tui and Tainui.
You couldn't quite drive the track Roger, The islands on Broadway tend to stop that :)
It has helped immensely particularly towards the end of a page. It didn't seem to matter early on a particular page. Weird.
Bloody rivet counters :) It's pretty excusable, given the history GN, HRG, AFN, Godfrey and Frazer Nash to have a mix up :) The cars are pretty similar too!
Ray, your HRG looks much more like Frazer Nash badge to me, as usual could well be wrong, but the badge shapes are different, HRG with squared off ends, FN more pointed.67518
Hamilton Car Club also ran the Raglan Grass Track events.
Hi Paul, the email I have for you has failed. I'm still on the one you have used previously.
I was going to give my usual plaudits, then I saw the seat. Is that what they used? We can do a lot better for you Paul.
You both look a little less mature than the last time I saw you :). When was the last domain? I ran the Gordini.
Ray, was that tongue in cheek for a bright green car, and a French one "C Non British Toad" :)
