I would happily have paid Rhys, as I think that a lot of the stuff was very well presented. Coventry and the West Midlands has a huge automotive history. I'd put it in my top 5 of museums visited in...
Shame Rhys - on both counts. That deletes a Coventry return visit from my itinerary. Pity really, as it is a superb museum. I suppose that being free to enter, there is no commercial pressure...
Post #321 - #1. Brilliant shot! Cars with attitude...
Post #322 - Car #43. Donn White's Mini originally, but who was driving?
Probably Climax. Most Coopers back then were, apart from the occasional MG and later, Jaguar.
A few general displays/car parks for a change, rather than specific cars. Just dipping into sections...
Presumably that is the Ian Walker who was the well known team owner/entrant at the time, usually Lotuses as I recall?
Good to see cars that we haven't seen out before. Great stuff Nigel as always - and on your picture thread.
With Leadfoot cancelled, I really should have made the effort to go to Taupo this year,...
Thanks Rhys. Viewing figures for the thread had dropped off considerably recently, presumably from regulars.
A random dip into the library section - sports or sports racing, GT's. A favourite...
Funny that today, I have been transposing, (or a precis), of my 1964 handwritten diary into a spreadsheet - big job, even with just a sentence or two per day.

Thanks Nigel, and to those others who have contacted me privately, effectively saying the same thing. Sometimes being polite just doesn't seem to work.

So why post them in here Ray? Doesn't seem to be the right thread.
Please read the thread title. This isn't a general picture thread.
Looks as though you have more than enough for your own picture thread Ray!
I'm not a huge fan of Americana, but that doesn't stop me taking photographs to add to the library, currently standing at 2500 American road cars.

In some ways, it is sad, but totally...
Well done Nigel. I won't be at Taupo I'm afraid, so look forward to pics of cars not seen before.
Should probably change my user name to Silver 08...
Allan Cattle - 1959 Volpini.
You are correct 928, it should show the filename, but not always. It may depend on the computer system, or browser, as others have commented that it doesn't work for...

More Chris Barber OBE. He retains a good friendship with Sir Jackie Stewart and Bernie Ecclestone and if anyone deserved a knighthood for music it...
Note that they are wearing foam neck braces though, so all is good safety wise...
Great shots Nigel. Cars with 'attitude'.
Yes Ray. Always happy to get hold of Chris Barber pics.
A few more - most aren't mine of course. Note the dress code back then...
