I'm trying to get as much information as I can on the Mazda RX3 that was owned by Frank Radisich and raced at Bathurst in 1977 with Bill Shiells, and from what I can gather practiced for the 1978...
Some also used various DCOE's (some huge 58mm ones) on similar style manifolds to my one with the SU's.

Yes this was specifically for Group C where carby's were free, but you had to use the std inlet manifold, so fabricated manifolds that bolted to the original were made to use a variety of carby's.

I don't know about in NZ, but Fibremaster in Australia have a few of the old Group C body kits for various Mazda's, those flares look identical to the ones on the Findlay RX-3.
