actually...to be accurate...the Imperral was built by Ian McRae in Taita originally with a motor-cycle power plant...Ray fitted the Imp motor. The car then passed into Terry Leighton's ownership

it always had rear bodywork covering the tyres...originally with a boot which was shortened to a flat cut off...I have photos taken not long after Peter finished the build at Admiral...

the Heron Daimler was owned by Bill Robinson...he went to the UK and was working at Nicholson McLaren buildig Cosworth V8 F1 engines
