Can anyone identify the chap in the blue overalls?
There's nothing wrong with your pictures Ray.
My personal opinion is that (1) there are too many other exciting things to do these days and (2) many of them are much cheaper than motorsport.
Has Targa NZ come to the end of the road. As a previous Targa competitor, I received an email from Peter Martin in which he stated that unless he has 45 "Expressions of Interest" this year's Targa...
Not at all pointless Ray, some of us look forward to your postings.
Compliments of the season to you all.

Does anyone know the situation with the Kohatu Park complex at or near Tapawera.
Ray, where was the picture of the RA Vanguard taken?
I'm sorry to hijack your thread Roger but can somebody tell me if this is the last post on here. Seems a long time to me.

Thanks for that Ray. I think the word that best describes New Zealand's history in motorsport is innovation, in other words making do with what was available at the time, or having to adapt or...
Just a thought to start a discussion based on recent questions about classic racing.
So you want to go racing in one of the controlled formulas. TCR or TA2 spring to mind. But here lies the problem...
But no wire wheels.
I see where Dennis passed on Dec 11. RiP Dennis.
Was that a 1200 or a Bluebird?
Is the situation such, that there is so many other things to do that are much less expensive than classic racing and as has been pointed out on previous occasions, the cars are now so rare and...
I agree with your sentiments Ray. One only has to look at the Targa events of recent times to see this. I well remember when Targa would attract 240 entries with reserves and is now less than 50...
Good luck
I see in today's Herald that Roy Harrington died 21/4.
