This looks like Bay Park- and that looks like Amber Electrical on the side of the black car.
Is this you George, can you tell us about this race?

If this is on the grid at Baypark; shouldn't the embankment in the background be higher?

it is the 'Siddy' John, then Capri Friend and outside is Mazda rx2 of Rutherford

    4 wide would be fenuwapie

At this meeting we crossed the runways and as you entered the crossing you got air, and I watched Algie and Rutherford 'fly' past me one time.

This is another car that hopefully will grace these grids in the not too distant future

kinda hope they resist the temptation to "panel and paint"

It looks so tantalizingly close to running in these pix.

My understanding is that there will be as little panel and paint as needs to be done to make it look reasonably presentable.

Mike- just realized that in #330, with the list of drivers on the door we are missing-

    Terry Scott.
    Jim Palmer.

Both drove it twice during 1969.
Door should be deep enough to get these names there.

We need to pass that info on to Tony Boyden - maybe he wasn't aware of it.

John, is it this Shane Johnson and Mustang? Has the car been changed from CMC spec?

What's the history of the Victor? I've never seen it before, but always remember Kent Greenwood in his blue Victor at some classic meetings and on Targa there for a few years. What ever happened to Kent and the car? Car didn't look much but went bloody fast!!

Shane Johnsons Mustang only just qualifies as an Invited Allcomer- it is Udys ex Targa winning car, history to 90s and is stock bodied, unchanged mechanically. If a CMC car is within these limits they can run. Cam Crawfords orange XA Coupe also, same with Paul Urquarts Moffat XA Coupe replica.
The Victor- ex Jack Nazers Miss Victorious. 3 times NZ Champ. Built by the Stone Bros. Jack told he that this was his first real racing car
