Simon McKinley And The White Escort

This video has been doing the social media rounds lately. If you've not seen this, I HIGHLY recommend it! This is Simon McKinley, thrashing his MkII Escort at various points of the Irish hillclimb and tarmac sprint championship. It is so impressive, his commitment and skill are just immense, as his his bravery. He clearly knows the roads very well, and gives 100% to squeezing every last millisecond out of his Escort. Check it out, and enjoy!

I'm not a great fan of rallying but have to admit this video is superb, car control is unbelievable. Did they wet the road or was that a number of videos put together but then again British weather!!!!!!!!

Commitment with a capital K. Nice watch all right and I could listen to the sound of those webers screaming all day.

    A fantastic drive!
Shame the photography isn't as good as the driving.

But it's good enough. Great compilation tape of a lot of good wheel work. The noise was a real treat, enjoyed it more and more as the tape played.

    Channelling Neil Allport...
