Good to see the 2010 and 2011 posts Nigel. Been busy culling my library so have enjoyed looking back at my own pics, sorting out over the last few weeks.

Maybe you have one of me running? Probably car 170 in 2010, keeping company with Frank Karl's Healey, somewhere very near the tail end of the grid...

Really great photos Nigel - I was keeping an eye out for you but didn't see you.

Trying to make out which corners you were taking the photos from. I realise there were several but I can't figure just where you were on track.

    Hi Mike,
I was out on the track most of the time [apart from lunch]. All the shots so far were taken at the S bends before pit straight. I spent the morning there and then moved to the other end of pit straight.

Bob Hyslops Championship winning car back and right at the pointy end.
The car is immaculate and has a Schedule K COD and its just as he ran it previously.
    Welcome back Bob

Showed some impressive flames on the over run too.

Yep, you dont see much flames at modern racing events.
Felt a little freaky at first having the flame thrower go past close up on a corner
