Here's a bit of photographic indulgence. Very nice restoration of a truly historic car.

Great pictures! I've finally seen a picture of my car on here, albeit hiding behind an E-Type...
Is there a site that allows you to monetise your shots? If there is and you have a decent shot of my Lotus, I'd be keen on ordering some prints.
Cheers Ross. PM and email address sent.
A few shots from that day, not action but pits and dummy grid area. Captions on photos. The Italian, The Volpini of Geoff Manning # 22, Colin Waite's Stanguellini had race # 12.,

Hope you dont mind me asking but dont know "non De Plumes" Who is 4dnut,and secondly who is in that photo getting out of the car ? Thanks.Would be nice at times to know who is writing what. This not a gripe ,just a comment. Thanks Ross.
Hi Ross,
My brother(Richard Jnr) and father (Richard Snr) were both running Lotus cars( a 7 S4 and Cortina). Charlie Conway had the Cooper there for Stirling Moss to drive. My family and the Conway's all stayed at the track in campervans. My friend and I had to push start that Cooper a few times. My friend still says how he burnt his leg on the exhaust of the Cooper with Stirling at the wheel. I am not sure who it was in the Cooper in the photo, was it Rolly Levis?

Hi , Yes now you say that ,looks like Charlie.Used to sell your dad a bit of fibreglass years ago,was it you that made the replica model of my little green bugeye sprite?
Nigel,
This photo is not up to your standards but it does bring back memories of Len Southwood driving the Stutz with Prime Minister Robert Muldoon aboard at Pukekohe before the start of the 1976 NZGP.

Back in the day Ken that large crowds attended race meetings
I do have an entry list that I could scan.
I was flagging for both days and sad to say, on a flag post that was on a straight and due to a different senior marshal, we were stuck on the one point all weekend, with no stand down time to wander. What should have been a photographic feast for me, was anything but, as we were too far from the track edge or a corner to get any decent pics. The one time in my life I actually regretted being a motorsport volunteer...
Our normal system was two flagging, one observing, two incident crew. If we had 7 or more, we took it in turns to stand down which at least gave us a bit of time to wander. These days, the poor marshals are out just about every weekend and they are often struggling to get two per post...
What happened to the Tuatara seen in post #13?
