    Waikaraka Park Stock Cars

    This is the programme for the first stock car meeting at Waikaraka Park. Unfortunately there is no date on it.

    Does anyone know when racing started at the park?

    At the 26th meeting of the 1969/70 season a challenge race between 4 speed car drivers from Western Springs and 4 local stock car drivers was held. Apparently the speed car boys had won a similar race the previous year but the stock car lads proved too strong this time.

    According to Macgors the first meeting was December 4th 1967
