    '68 Tasman Lotus 49 pix

Am looking for a photo of the left side (coolant pipe side) of the 1968 Tasman Series Lotus 49T in the old colours PRIOR to the Wigram round (when it appeared in new GLTL colours), ie. at Puke NZIGP or Levin, if anyone can help there please.
Also, does anyone out there specialise in making repro historic NZ motor racing decals for modelling purposes ??

Rob, in the collection of pics of mine is a pretty good one, not as clear as Mike Feist's one.
One day Steve might post the collection.

In the "1967 Shell NZ Motor Racing " annual there is B/W picture of the Clark car at the NZ GP, without the front bodywork (which was lost in a late-race brush with a slower car). The coolant pipe is very clear. There is also a Teretonga colour shot without the pipe showing. If you can't find a copy, I or someone else can email the pictures.

Hmmm, am I getting the years mixed up here? There might be something in my photos from 1968 Pukekohe practice day. I will look as soon as I can.

Thanks for the response guys, the GD66 photo post solves one issue thanks. I was at the "68 GP, and Lawrence Brownlie's car didn't look quite so pretty by the end. Denny's Brabham came to rest right in front of me, spectating over on the back straight abeam hairpin braking point - I was horrified !
Yep I have the Shell books, and yeah Stu, wrong year, the '67 Tasman Team Lotus car was 33R14. Appreciate the response though.

I was there Ron and I was also horrified. Denny was very pale as he was helped into the ambulance. and Brownlie's leg was in bad shape. What total wrecks both cars were!! Chrs...

Glad the photos helped Rob. Obviously I was there and saw the cars afterwards. Was also there when Graeme Lawrence and Bryan Faloon came to grief. Within split seconds it can all turn to custard and those beautiful cars become so much scrap metal. Luckily someome sees the value and retains then for future rebuilds and we get to see them again in their splendour.
