    Here's one you won't find on Ebay. This kit came out in the 50's consisting of wood blocks which were carved to shape with Brass wheels. susp etc.. Rare as rocking horse manure !!!!!Name:  082_zps418594de.jpg

    Worth how much? Any idea? I think you'll find it is the E Type ERA. The A/B/C/D types were the upright originals.

    Given that both ERA and BRM were based on national pride, I suppose that it is appropriate that I photographed this today, St George's day...

    I still have the template for the radiator grille and the tyres on this model match those of the supplied paperwork - which includes a photograph. The photograph with the paperwork also includes a driver.

    ERC you're right. E type it is. I scored this model as a resto job so it's not entirely accurate..........But it is different !

    Just checked on Ebay. The last one went for about 38GBP!

    The MRRC 4WD Mercedes unbuilt slot racing kit I sold in NZ, fetched a lot more than that!

    I do have the full set of Dad's Merit kits (built up) with the original boxes. He made a good job of those.

    Totally agree, wish I had the talent, all my models are diecast or resin and not made by myself.

    At Laguna Seca for Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at moment, got big classic meeting on for 2 weekends. 7th-9th August 2015 Pre-Reunion and 2015 Rolex-Reunion 12th-16th August

    Have more ie front on etc
