This is a wild guess and I need help as usual but I think I remember Spinner Black drove a Triumph Spitfire at Matamata one year.
Could that be his Spitfire cutting through on the inside against the bales in post # 111 ?

In 1964 there was only one Spitfire entered and that was driven by Kerry Grant. There was a late entry but I don't have any details of driver or car.
