Thanks so much Milan. How did you keep these wonderful photos away from us for so long. ?
    Great memories.
I can remember Bryan Innes in one of his first formula car drives at the 66 Pukekohe GP talking to Bill Caldwell and asking him about how did he get used to all the air rushing by his ears as he wasn't used to that when racing saloons !
In # 39 post of Bruce and Phil Hill, is that Tyler Alexander to the left and Bruce Harre next to Bruce ?

More detail than just that- look at Shell tanker with hose and drums of gas for sale=OSH would love that, no safety fire equipment in sight.
Try getting gas at a race track now.

Yes John, an other man made rule to put the sheep in fear mode , cant remember a fire at a race track in NZ , the tanker driver would be keeping an eye open for the idiots smoking etc plus the shut off valve would be working , now we have to carry the fuel in containers hundreds of them for each meeting ....

Re fires at race tracks,Jack Nazer at Puke /Railway Corner 1967,THink there was one refuelling during one of the Le mans races at puke.I always wore fireproof overalls even in the 60's,used to get a bit of shit for it would you believe.THere is an old saying "There is no such thing as a clubmans fire !!"Sure there have been more fires.

There was one in a B&H as well, seen a couple little ones over time, and MSNZ made the regs, remember 'osh' is workplace. (occupational safety & health)

Here's another instance of a fire at Pukekohe. Bryce Platt's Escort well ablaze at the Club Circuit on October 10 1976.
