I believe this bus was owned by the great Louie "The Leopard" Antonievich. His son Tony owns a cool car and plane collection, which includes the Joe Chamberlain/Dennis Marwood Camaro. Louie was a fearsome Stockcar competitor.

Another shot of the track. Not sure who owns the Falcon coupe with the radiused rear fenders, but its pretty cool!

Guy Lim's T Bucket, pictured earlier in the thread, now sporting a nice custom paint job and a little more chrome.

Ivan Jujnovich's '56 Chevy hardtop. With a different paint job, I think this is the same car that appeared in the Weetbix Hot Rod card collection in the late '70s. Remember those?

I have most of the cards but not the folder or the poster, have several duplicates, to swap !! If you want what I have posted, can do that on one of the threads ..
I understand that most of the photos used were taken at a Hot Rod and Custom Show in Rotorua..
here is one as a teaser !!
where I had duplicates I managed to put both picture and description in one image !!

There were two different sets of Weetbix cards Roger. The image you posted is from the first series, while the cover from the booklet Rikko posted is from the second series.

I'm pretty sure that Falcon Coupe was raced by Brett Wilson from Hastings. Had a 428 CJ in it. It appeared in a lot of the NZHRM drag racing coverage back in the mid-late seventies.
    Cheers,
    Bob.
