    Stock Car racing Stratford (1965 - 66 ??)

From Ron Mundell comes some unidentifyed stockcar racing filmed in colour 8mm. I'm guessing it is Stratford but any help will be appreciated.

Stratford opened in February 1965, that is from one of the early meetings that season. Very poor quality, there was some much better footage around, I will try and find it.

Despite what they will tell you in Sydney, South Australia had the first stockcar racing in Australia during 1954, not long after the big craze kicked off in Engalnd. Skyline Raceway was the first in SA and lots of other country tracks sprung up. There is a lot of footage of those days in SA on the web with some clear images and huge hits.
That footage looks like it may be the later fifties.
