RiP Beowulf
Just heard via AMCO on Facebook, the very sad news that Richard Wright had a stroke 2 weeks ago and has passed away.
Best known for running 'Beowulf' for many years in Historics, and more recently, the Mallock, whilst his son drove 'Beowulf'.
A lovely bloke and will be missed by all who knew him, not just the Historic fraternity. Richard ran a bookshop in Cambridge.
One of the McLaren group who made the trip to Monaco Historics in 2012, with his wife Margaret.
RiP buddy.

I also was on the 2012 Monaco trip with Richard and Margaret. I live fairly close to them at Otorohanga, always good to have a chat to Richard at Cambridge and racetracks.
He also will be missed by the greater Cambridge community for the voluntary work he did for the Cambridge community board.
My condolences to Margaret and family.

Shocked to hear this as, when I was living in Cambridge, I used to go and have a natter with Richard in his shop whenever I was in town. I will certainly miss him at the historic meetings. RIP
