    In what was one of the finest moments of Bruce McLaren's career as his team cars came in first, second and third and Jerry Melton captured some of that at Michigan International Speedway September 28th 1969.

    Bruce McLaren leading Jo Siffert and Peter Revson on the pace lap as Denny Hulme is already out of the picture.

    A wonderful moment for Bruce that was never to be repeated as he is the winner in # 4, Denny Hulme is second in # 5 and Dan Gurney is third in # 1, as they come down pit road after the finish. Great stuff.
