August.1967 The First Canadian Grand Prix. Mosport.
I remember hearing the radio report and reading how well Bruce McLaren had driven in this race in his M5A with a BRM 3 litre V-12 engine # 19 and I think he was leading in the rain until a battery died. I don't remember many photos back then but these Jerry Melton photos certainly cover the event well.

(I am not sure of the white towel by Bruce's mouth. Any suggestions about driving in the rain perhaps ?)
