    RIP Clark Proctor

Only just heard via another messageboard, that 'Metalman' Clark Proctor passed away June 26th.

Probably best known for his support of the Targa Rally and his yellow Nissan powered Escort.

His earlier V8 Escort was sold to Gordon Burr and Clark purchased the late Ivan Selak's Escort, Bluey, which he raced in the ERC Series.

He also raced a March and shared a Formula Ford with his son.

There was apparently a service today at Hampton Downs.

    RIP

Clark also raced a Falcon in the BNT V8 series, at the first Australian GT meeting at Highlands Park he competed in a Mosler.
He also supported other drivers, one that comes to mind is Emma Gilmour.
    RIP Clark

Rip Clarke. Always the entertainer, in stockcars anyway. When he bought back his tank stockcar he came around home and bought a couple of 221 windsors engines off me. He arrived in his Rolls Royce with 460 Ford.

RIP Clark. Always the entertainer especially in stockcars. When he bought back his tank stockcar, he came around home and bought a 221 Windsor and parts. He arrived in his Rolls royce with 460 Ford power.
