I am hoping some one can give me some information on a recent acquisition it is a Michael Turner limited edition print of Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson in the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR driving to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia the painting the print is from is dated 1973 it is signed by the artist and Stirling Moss and is number 210 of 250 copies. I have found other later limited edition prints by Michael Turned on line of the same car and driver in the same race but with a different aspect and a limited edition of 722 copies signed by both Michael Turner and Sterling Moss, but I have not been able to find this earlier print. I purchased some books for my collection and the vendor had this framed print for sale for less than the price of a frame that size so I could not resist adding it to my collection although I am running out of wall space. it would be interesting to know more about this print as it is a stunning depiction of the car with the battle damage inflicted during the race it is 44cm x 22cm in a larger frame and looks impressive on the wall.
