    Spencer always came across as polite , approachable and genuine when racing in 60's.
    Its good to see nothing appears to have changed judging by his demeanor in the interview.

    Took this at Symmons Plains in Nov 66.....
    He is / was somewhat of a legend to me with his Humpy involvment in the period.
    He was driving for Jane at the time.
    Jane has his back to camera.

    Post 3 is Pukekohe, I'm not sure if that is with Spencer or Andy Buchanan. My very similar photo says 1966 GP with the same number 11

    Yeah I was just thinking that myself. I had just realised it was probably Andy Buchanan not Spencer Martin.

    It is Spencer Martin at Pukekohe, the car raced at the NZ International meetings the season before Andy Buchanan raced it. You can always tell by the numbers anyway, Spencer raced as #11 and Andy as #28.
