    Excellent!

Although never a fan of the 2 litre Shellsport series 'back in the day' due to the axing of 6 litre cars by MANZ, there is no doubt the series, the drivers and cars were and remain an important part of NZ's motorsport history.

Looking forward to many more of these videos.

Hey that is fantastic! And nice investigative work tracking down so many original cars. I love the old race footage. Thats really hard to find these days.

tvnz broadcast all this stuff live so none of it was recorded. just a case of calling as many people as you can and asking if they have any videos lying around, then searching through it for relevant footage. fairly time consuming but it is magic stuff to find.

I got a box full, so I better find a video player and start looking. I want to put them on disc is that a hassle. (I am not up with this techo)

There are a few people who have copies of that old footage from the '80s, and everyone of them has it on vhs. I hope someone can eventually get it on dvd, I'd happily pay for a copy.

Absolutely, there must be hours of quality racing that people have forgotten about or don't know how to transfer. here on the sunshine coast there are 2 guys who specialise in transferring VHS to DVD. $30 for a 2 hour DVD

Sunnycoupe - this is great material and I really like the way you are handling it.
