    Stolen Race Car In Australia

Just received this, so please keep your eyes and ears open, and hopefully the mongrels will get caught. As below:

Up here in Brisbane a competitor (Glenn White ) had his sports sedan stolen on the week-end.
He has paid to run at Bathurst next February 2012.

    BUT

Glenn had the Chev Powered Capri (ex Phil Crompton Car) sports sedan stolen from his home in Jimboomba Qld on the week-end.(see pics)

Could you please keep a good eye out as you drive around to see if you can spot it anywhere.

Who knows where it will end up.

    Inter state or Qld.

If you have any info to pass onto about please contact Glenn on -:

    0405 754 524 or
    (07) 55478367

Could you please forward this onto any body you know either in Qld or interstate.

The wider the web we might catch that bastards.

    Thanks

Its unlikely the theft is to gain $$ from selling the car its too well known
it may get broken for parts or it might get ransomed back to the owner
or as has happened in the UK a dispute has had with the owner another party and 3rd party has been hired to take the car

we had 2 F atlantic cars stolen 2 years ago turned out to be 1 car owners ex wife and some hired "help"
cars where recovered but amazingly the police did not prosecute her but I'm sure they would have prosecuted any of us for doing 75 on a 70 mph limit road!
The main thing is more publicity on the cars theft makes it harder to sell car or parts
contact the owner and ask them to place advert on uk website racecarsdirect list the major components eng gbox etc so that they cannot be advertised to be sold elsewhere
Yes I know Im behind you guys, i like warm beer and it rains a lot here too.
