CAPTION for XA Coupe stopped -
never use non genuine Ford parts on your Ford.
Dont let your car smoke your sponsors cigarettes.
-Murphy never had to walk this far to the dunny at Bathurst.
Any more bright ideas out there.

My friend Ross painted Jim Richard's old Sicrome mustang in this colour scheme , but I feel it looks better on a coupe . would love to see someone use it for a racing coupe here in NZ

Would also love to see Team Cambridge colours on a Falcon Coupe. Was on Faheys Mustang-Mike Feisst photo.. I feel that Ketts car with its bigger and different wheels and power bulge on the bonnet does not really do the original colour scheme justice.Would look great on my Monaro as a Grady Thompson tribute. If the colour and car combo arent exact, but some interpretation ,then the originality is gone.

By the way, beautiful photos Pete.

Wow, this is amazing! I wonder how much it was? I like the last catch point on the windscreen: "Never to be repeated". How true is that.

These are awesome Pete! Got any more? The vehicles in the background are just as interesting as the Cobras. Look at the line of Sandmans and Sundowners (is that what they called the Falcons?).

By the way Pete, the Corvette in your Avatar, is this the same car John Bowe is racing at Monterey this weekend?

Sounds cheap now, but at the time that would have been a lot of money! But, even still, would have been a bloody good investment.

Wow, I love this photo. This must have been very early 1974? It was painted blue later in the year wasn't it? Pretty sure it was blue when it won Bathurst.

Steve, it was Peter Brock in the 66 FIA Corvette,he went over as a guest driver and enjoyed the car very much.the car was subsequently imported into Australia and JB is driving it this weekend for the Melbourne based owner.
