    Hiya Mike,

I'll send some images across the ditch for Garry. If he goes to the trouble & expense of bringing his car over from Oz so we can enjoy it then the least I can do is to send him some pics.

I'm planning on going up to HD on the second Saturday. I'll be wearing my new Roaring Season T Shirt [McLaren] & wearing a backpak. so I'll keep an eye out too

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

    Cheers
    Nigel

That will be great and will keep an eye out for you. The last couple of years we have been parked at the bottom end of the pit area against the fence and I am hoping that we will be allowed to stay there again. Out motorhome is a pale cream colour with a maroon bottom and an orange middle stripe and is called 'Hawkeye'. My home email address if mikefeisst@xtra.co.nz. Can send you a couple of photos if I have your home address.

Hoping my T shirt arrives so that I can wear it too.

I haven't had a chance to look through all of your photos (intend to do so) and just wondered if you had a good action shot of Roger Townshend's Cologne Capri at the McLaren Festival.

    Cheers Mike

    Hi Mike,
On the day I attended the McLaren Festival there were 3 similar liveried capris; No 1 which was a static display in the pits & No 2 which raced & completely blitzed the oppostion. I'm presuming Roger Townshends is No 2
Anyway here's a link to the shots taken that day that I've loaded onto my Flickr page

    Hi Nigel,

Thats the car - I think it looks surperb and Roger keeps it looking immaculate. He also owns the original Fahey Capri that is being rebuilt. When I was down there in NOvember Roger showed me the original dash unit from the car still with nall the original guages in it. His mate owns the origianl Fahey Escort FVA and it is being rebuilt by the same people. Won't that be a sight when both of those hit the track.

    Cheers Mike
