Great to see the Aussie Trans Am racers over there having a run. Nice shot of the JIm Richards Escort lifting a wheel as well.
Awesome photos, god it would be nice to see that many F5000's racing in anger over here.

Great photos and videos! Thanks for all of these. The weather seems a bit more cooperative than 2011.
I'm also looking forward to hearing how those Goodyear Blue Streaks served some of the Historic Muscle Car drivers.

Think the Shannons meeting at Phillip Island in March will probably have a bigger field than at Hampton Downs this weekend AND think if the rumours are right the Muscle Car Masters races at Eastern Creek (later this year) will be bigger F5000 turn-out again!Originally Posted by lisian_1275

A really good drive from Howard Wood from here on this forum in his BMW in the wet ,this morning and a real sterling performance like wise from Jim Richards in his race this morning ,Jims overtaking move over the hill into the infield hairpin on a wet greasy track you had to see to believe,neat clean and so effective
Howard won the race of the weekend - real giant killing stuff, brilliant.
And no - it ain't a turbo!
It was a shame about the weather, but it did make for some good racing.
