I can give some of the names.

Car 18 Brian Green was listed as the co-driver to the owner of the car Jim Foster. I would imagine Green did most of the special stages.

Car 15 Dick Marlow and Wayne Lynch from the Manawatu Car Club.

Car 33 Peter Batten and Steve Hamilton from the Auckland Car Club.

Car 56 John Metherall and John Reid from the Eastern Southland Car Club.

Car 67 Bernard Gauzere from New Caledonia.

Car 39 Graeme Barker and Tony Baker from the Rotorua Car Club.

Car 50 Colin Taylor and 'K' Foulkes from the Wellington Car Club.

Car 22 Tim Bailey and Brian Phipps from the Auckland Car Club.

The FIAT Scorpion run by Trevor Tapper was used as the inspiration for the FIAT 125T.

Was the letter T relate to any particular modification or to T for Tapper?

    Re; the '81 Daybreaker pictures.
It is indeed Bondy in the Hunter, Graham (Chirpy) Anderson in the Civic, Shane Murland in the Chevette, Brian Green in the Escort. All of the others are familiar, they'll come to me a little later.
Is that a ginga helping pull the black RX3 a young Crunch Bennett?

We were there in a 1600. Ridiculously rough stage. Never one to complain though.
