Looks odd with those tyres! Although I eventually put the V8 into an MG Magnette, my first choice was a Riley 1.5. SMILEY the Riley as I had the numberplate all ready. I'm currently selling the SMILEY personalised plate, which has been on the Marcos for a few years.

Very SMILEY seeing those RILEY's ERC, Thanks, a family favourite, although not always when being worked on in the driveway by my Uncle and Father at different times. 1940's -50's. according to my cousin who learnt new words when the car was in pieces in Glen Eden.
Not a replica...
Ever so slightly photoshopped (Well, InPixio anyway...)
I always preferred the look of the Mk 1 GT6.

One of my favourite cars! Owned by a couple of long time motorsport people.

For those hooking in wondering why there is a gap in posts, it was due to the site being down due to a lapsed domain registration. Whether it will be renewed in 12 months time is debatable. I for one hope that it is.
So where were we... I have even taken a break from filing my own pics as there wasn't the urgency or incentive to crack on. With no more Leadfoot and the end of the local season, the loss of the local Caffeine & Classics, there isn't much on my calendar now until the Goodwood Revival in September.
This Beattie was built in the UK.
