1967 BOAC 500 - Hulme (Lola); Amon (Ferrari); McLaren (Porsche)

Check out this great YouTube video of the 6-Hour 'BOAC 500' World Sports Car Championship race at Brands Hatch in July 1967.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMTXezcAJto

The 'Kiwi Trio' were all racing - Denny Hulme (with Jack Brabham in the #4 Lola T70 MkIII); Chris Amon (with Jackie Stewart in a Ferrari P4); and Bruce McLaren (with Jo Siffert in a Porsche 910).

Unfortunately Hulme was forced to retire with a suspected bent valve, but Amon went on to finish 2nd, and McLaren 3rd.

Phil Hill & Mike Spence won in their bewinged 7.0 litre Chaparral 2F (with its automatic transmission).

Wow, what an amazing video! Thanks for finding this and posting it John. I've embedded it in here so people don't have to go across to Youtube to view it:
