Kicking off here with a fantastic shot of Red Dawson, the former speedway driver, lighting up the rear bags in his Willys coupe, which was repowered with a Chevy V8. Chasing Dawson is Kerry Grant, who would go on to win the NZ Saloon Car Championship that season.
