That is interesting stuff Myles,what a shame the Le-Mans Blue No 52 was lost in a road accident but how lucky are we to still have the gorgeous Hugger Orange No 33 alive and well and to see Bob sharing it with the public........job well done!

I have a 1967 NZ price list which shows my Fiat Abarth 695SS (hot Fiat 500) as being a similar price to a Cooper S. Needless to say they only sold one of them. Things have changed as I understand they have sold a handful of Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari ( modified new 500) models in NZ at $79,900 which seems a horrendous amount of money for a small Fiat.
One wonders what happened to the Felgates of 1974 and did such expressions of wealth really help sell spark plugs. Now days if people want to promote themselves they just go on reality TV
