Hey Hey Tony, you did good. Great shot of Rodney. He hasn't even got a shot of his Mini with the power bulge for the crossflow head.
One happy camper here. Awesome.
Thanks
Ian

OK now Bathurst 1979 again. I will double up on a couple here with the first ones in the thread only because they are clearer images and I have identified more of them.
Firstly what I did not notice the first time around was 2 different numbered Craven Mild A9X's yet I can only find 1 in the entry list.

Fantastic!
A couple of different HDT cars.
A "T" car as seen earlier, A9X race car and a Commodore.

More to come but the Hamster seems to have died at the upload generator wheel. I will try again in the morning.
Tony, in post #64 I think it is Grice at the wheel of the 635 BMW at Amaroo not Richards. In post #71 The Craven Mild Torana #16 looks like Alfie Costanzo at the wheel. I think you will find that car (#16) was just a practice car so that they could give the co-driver more track time in the lead up to the race.
Dale.
Tony, these are fantastic, I'm really enjoying them. The Commodore in post 74, would that be one of those HDT rally cars?
Dale, post #64 looks like Jim, as he wore those sunnies back then and also the profile (seat position) looks very Jim like. Couple of others from back then.
Cheers guys. I was unsure but went with Jim purely because of the helmet design and glasses.
