Wow - brilliant short film! Thanks for the link. How the hell did you find this Tony?
Loved the corner 'drifting' of the saloons! Wonder how much sand was on the circuit? Also wonder how the Holden 'humpy' did against a field of Minis, 105E's and Lotus Cortinas?

No, the Holden's Bill Macpherson's, later destroyed in a nasty fire at Levin
My brother actually found it and sent me the link. Never heard of the site before though.
Alan Boyle of " Purple " and " Tomato " Mini / Cooper fame, later the Cocoa Cola Viva, revisited Paritutu recently on his Motorcycle - a bit of nostalgia tour.
He took photos of parts of the Track [ the road as it is now ] and has marked events - The Start Finish line, where he was in Tomato at the 1966 meeting, and where a couple of competitors fell off the track.
Will put them on the " Dunedin 1984 " - thread, where most non - Pukekohe Ardmore stuff has been going.

Alan was having to run with the three stripes on the rear of his car as hadn't done enough meetings.
Here the car in the Pit area near Sugarloaf Rocks - Paritutu Mountain / Rock with Mt Egmont - Taranaki in the background.
