These photos taken at Otaua Hillclimb both on the hill and at scrutineering. Definitely a dry day and shows that John was using both intermediates and wets that day.
John can be seen carrying the jack in the scrutineering photo of Joanna - he did a fantastic job checking car safety for the Austin Healey Club who initiated and ran the event those days.
