in above photos The Mk1 Escort No. 20 Robert Van Gisbergen (Cheese) and the Anglia 64 is myself. The monday after this meeting the escort was in my care and remains there today. The Anglia was handed to my brother and then Brian Friend and that was the last i know of it. Anglia was a neat little bit of fun.
Couple of photos of car later on, different steerer, same place, same angle, car was well trained by prevoius owners.
Capri is Terry O'Brien from Paeroa. It had 302 in it and was quick. It was later painted red. Terry put the engine in a jet boat at some stage.

Thanks again Nigel, wonderful photos. Rod, did that Escort of yours ever go in a straight line?
The Cortina of Steve Vigurs is the old Clyde Collins car, sadly long since departed this earth. Don Grindleys RX7 is still rotary powered there, before he fitted with Buick V6. Boy did that motor have some lungs!

So the Vigurs Cortina is the same car as Bruce Bellis ran?
When did it get the Weslake headed Chevy?
Yep, thats right. I think the Chevy appeared when Bellis had it. Collins had a Mustang motor in the car.
