Looking for info
Someone here might be able to help me on this - looking for any info on the history of the doors I currently have on my MK1 Mini project. I know my car never saw any track time, but the 4 sets of doors I have came off various Mini race cars. As you can see by the photo, and to quote Gerald Fogg - "a neatly done number, not hand painted with a yard broom". The passenger's door has a big Canterbury Draught sticker on the inside, both doors are lightened too. I got the car from near Christchurch, so I'm guessing it must've been an early Mini 7 or something from there. Any info would be much appreciated. Also looking for any old photos of Geoff Elder's #282 Mini - I was given the doors off it a few years back, since sold now with a MK2 Mini shell I had

I assume the doors were/are original steels as the car went on a diet for OSCA etc. Do you need contact number/ address for Geoff?

Has Geoff got an email address at all?

If he has I don't know it, I can PM you his landline phone# or snail mail if you wish, or you could look it up in whitepages, he is the only Geoff Elder in Riversdale area.
