Both Bud Moore and Ron Kaplan ran factory Trans-Am entries in the '69 Daytona Citrus 250. Here Parnelli Jones leads John Martin through the infield section. Jones was the fastest in the race but retired on lap 20 (of 67) with transmission failure, while Martin completed just 8 laps before his race ended with push-rod failure. Moore had also entered a Mercury Cougar for Seiichi Suzuki, which finished 4th, while a second factory Trans-Am Javelin driven by Bob Tullius placed 6th.
