    I just love this great shot of a very crowded Meremere pit area. Check out the vehicles pictured here. The Mustang looks epic, as does the custom Transit van. I sure love '70s custom vans; flares, fat mags with raised white lettered tyres, lake pipes, and, of course, lots of wild air brushed paint, including Warlocks, desert scenes, and/or naked ladies.

    The Mustang is Tony McFadden who was part owner of rear engined rail (one of 1st in country)
    with Ken Vincent. He was a block layer from East Coast Bays. Brian Bowater got this car of Tony.
